Nick Orlove is a Philadelphia-based photographer working across astrophotography, nature, and motorsport — three disciplines that have almost nothing in common except the patience they demand.

The astrophotography work is mostly shot from his backyard with the occasional trip to a dark sky site, over many hours of accumulated exposure time. The nature and landscape work spans the Mid-Atlantic, Iceland, and wherever else there's something worth pointing a camera at. The motorsport coverage comes from events like the Rolex 24 at Daytona, Road America and Watkins Glen, where the challenge is less about patience and more about being in exactly the right place at exactly the right moment.

This site serves as a portfolio and a small print shop. A selection of images are available as fine art prints on Fuji Crystal Archive paper, produced to order through a professional print lab. If something catches your eye, it can be on your wall.
